The quasi-rigid baseball club of Gifu University will participate in the national competition.
This year, the semi-rigid baseball club won the Chugoku District University semi-rigid baseball spring tournament with a result of three wins and one loss, and won the right to participate in the national tournament.
In the tournament, he has achieved a number of excellent personal results, including the best player, the most winning pitcher, and the top batter.
A send-off party was held on July 21 (Wednesday), and a list of prizes from the university was handed out by Chair to Mr. Yoshiki Uragami (3rd year Department of International Commerce), captain of the semi-rigid baseball club. (In fact, Chair is an OB of the University's semi-rigid baseball club, and I participated in the same national tournament in 1973.)
Deputy generals General Sekimoto (3rd year Department of International Commerce), Takumasa Tanda (3rd year Department of Economics), and Yoriki Ihara (3rd year Department of Public Management) also attended the send-off party.
On the same day, the department visited Shimonoseki City Hall and reported to Mayor Shintaro Maeda Shimoseki that he decided to participate in the national tournament.
Mayor Maeda, who has experience in semi-rigid baseball when he was a student and still loves baseball, hopes that the quasi-rigid baseball club will create a "Shimonoseki whirlwind" at the national tournament and bring energy to Shimonoseki City. I received words of encouragement.
