Dr. Asako Ishikawa visited the President office with two books published this year. Both are books written by the group as artifacts of the Scientific Research Grant Program.
“Learning Places for Foreign Students: Focusing on Various Learning Places” (Kazutaka Sasaki, Matsuo Tamaki) is a high school that is engaged in the issues facing Japan and excellent initiatives for education for junior and senior high school students from foreign countries. It is a book that studies local cases. It is mainly written in collaboration with Utsunomiya University fellows.
"Osaka High School Walking with Foreign Students: Transformation of School Culture and Life Course of Graduates" (edited by Kosuke Yamamoto, En Enai) is a sister book that chased 10 years after "Newcomer living in high school", which was first published by Professor Ishikawa when he was a graduate student. This book introduces the advanced initiatives being carried out in Osaka and how the newcomers (foreign immigrants) who have been supported have spent their 10 years since graduating from high school.
Ishikawa said with a smile, "I am very impressed that I was involved in when I was a graduate student 10 years later," said Ishikawa with a smile.

President of Korea also said, "I think it's wonderful to come together and conduct joint research. I would like to continue supporting the university so that teachers can conduct research useful to society. "The words of encouragement were given.
