Recruitment of naming rights partners

Shimonoseki City University will become a naming rights partner for facilities owned by the university with the aim of securing new financial resources for the future and promoting the expansion of self-income in order to improve the educational and research environment of our university. We are looking for corporations who wish to do so as follows.

Overview of naming rights

You can give nicknames to our facilities and other properties, and advertises with company names, trademark names, corporate logos, and symbol marks.
We offer "property identification type" that specifies facilities and openly recruits, and "proposal recruitment type" that always waits for proposals. Please consider it as one.

About naming rights type, fee and application method

1. Property identification type	From the university, we will identify the target facilities, present necessary items related to recruitment such as naming rights fees and agreement periods, and make public offerings. Please see "Application Guidelines" and "Appendix" for the application method, target facilities and desired amount of money. 2. Proposal proposal type	We receive naming rights proposals inside and outside the building (classroom entrance, etc.) and conclude an agreement. Charges are set according to the size of the panel. In addition, all property under the naming rights partner agreement and property that is being publicly offered in the property identification type are covered. 2. Proposal proposal type

We receive naming rights proposals inside and outside the building (classroom entrance, etc.) and conclude an agreement. Charges are set according to the size of the panel.
In addition, all property under the naming rights partner agreement and property that is being publicly offered in the property identification type are covered.

Application method

Please read the application guidelines carefully, fill out the “Naming Rights Partner Application Form” (Form 1), attach the required documents, and mail or bring it to General Affairs Department General Affairs Division. If there is an application, it is deemed that you have accepted the contents of the application guidelines and agree to comply with them.

About recruitment of advertising mat setting companies (as needed)

The university conducts an advertising business with the aim of securing self-income and reducing costs by providing personal property or real estate owned as an advertising medium. Therefore, we are looking for businesses to set up advertising mats on campus.
(Reference) There are about 2,000 students enrolled in the university and about 100 faculty and staff.

Application period

Applications will be accepted from time to time. However, if all installation locations are decided, the recruitment will be suspended.

Installation location

Please refer to Appendix 1 “Advertisement Mat Installation Location Map”. In addition, if you wish to install it in a place other than this recruitment, we will consider it separately.

Installation period

2 years from the date of the contract.
However, if desired, the period can be extended up to 5 years from the date of the contract.
If you wish to extend the period, you must submit an application one month before the expiration of the contract.

Standards, contents, etc.

The size per advertisement mat shall be 120 cm long x 180 cm wide, and the entire surface can be used as an advertising space.
Advertisements must comply with the Public University of Shimonoseki City University Advertising Standards. Advertisements to be placed will be reviewed by our university before creation.
Design shall be friendly and unpleasant to students, faculty and staff and local residents.
The function of the advertising mat shall have the functions of shoe sole cleaning, dust prevention, water absorption, and non-slip.
Create two or more advertising mats per location, including replacement for cleaning.

Installation fee

An annual fee of 30,000 yen per sheet (120 cm long x 180 cm wide) shall be paid to the university before installing the advertising mat.

Responsibilities of installation companies

The creation of the advertising mat will be performed by the installation company, and all the costs shall be borne by the installation company.
Installation, replacement, maintenance and removal of advertising mats will be performed by the installation company, and all the costs shall be borne by the installation company.
In principle, the advertisement mat should be cleaned at least once a month. In addition to normal replacement, if the advertising mat is significantly soiled, the school and the installation company should consult with us to exchange and clean the facility.
The installer can sell advertising space to be posted on the advertising mat and recruit their advertisers. However, even in this case, the installer shall be responsible for the content of the advertisement.

How to apply

Please read the application guidelines carefully, fill out the “Shimonoseki City University Advertisement Mat Installation Application Form” (Form 1), attach the required documents, and mail or bring it to General Affairs Department General Affairs Division. In addition, when setting company receives request from advertiser, please attach consent form (second style) of advertiser.
At the time of application, the manuscripts to be submitted may be at the draft stage, but please submit as close to the manuscript you wish to publish as much as possible so that the university can fully examine the content of the advertisement.
If there is an application, it is deemed that you have accepted the contents of the application guidelines and agree to comply with them.
