The current state of Japanese food is said to be "rich food and saturated". While various imported agricultural and marine products are flowing from overseas, the domestic self-sufficiency rate is declining. While the rate of external food increases and fast food consumption is increasing, the ratio of home-based diet is decreasing, jeopardizing the maintenance and maintaining a healthy Japanese-style diet. Under these circumstances, the government has enacted the Basic Law on Shokuiku and is working to restore a healthy diet for Japanese people, but the results do not appear early, but are issues that need to be addressed for a long time. In the lecture, you will learn about "Food, Agriculture, Food and Fishing" and food and food education in Shimonoseki City.

Advanced Technology and Changes in Human, Society and Nature
~ F.G. Yoon Gar "Completion of Technology"
Lecturer: Professor Takahiro Kirihara ***************************
Advanced technologies such as AI (artificial intelligence), cryptocurrency, genome editing, and prenatal diagnosis, are expected to greatly change our lives. However, what changes and how much will change cannot be understood without certain criteria to determine the change. It is clear from transportation, information equipment, home appliances, etc., that even though the lifestyle has completely changed due to the spread and penetration of technology and becoming a part of everyday life, the change is often not aware of the change. Is clear. This course introduces a passage from "Completion of Technology" written by German writer Friedrich Georg Yoongark Yoonga, published shortly after World War II, to see the changes in advanced technologies on humans, society, and nature. Explore perspectives. Replacing his critical point of view that "the whole society becomes a technically controlled organization and human beings become a part of its function and contributes to the exploitation of nature" with the modern situation, while examining this, Think about the "future of human nature" that can be seen from there.
