Over time, "Ogaisama" brings medical professionals
Social contribution through activities as a simulated patient
Lecturer: Professor, NAKASHIMA Emiko

Professor, TSUKAHARA Hitomi

People take care of their health when they harm their health, but they are not just to get medical care. When you or your loved ones harm your health, why don't you get involved in the education of healthcare professionals as a simulated patient because you want to receive good medical care? Failures are not allowed on the actual site because medical care is a human partner. Therefore, a partner (simulated patient) is needed to learn how to listen to the patient's talk and respond to the patient in the classroom. Beyond the times of "contribute to the education of healthcare professionals now and receive high-quality medical care in the future", there are social contributions that we want you to participate in. This section introduces the significance, rewarding, and specific methods of simulated patients in the education of nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Applied Microeconomics
~ Let's make everyday life fun with microeconomics
Lecturer: Associate Professor Department of Economics ISHII Ryosuke

Despite the desire to learn and understand economics, a very steep journey is waiting. Even at the beginner level, you need to struggle with thick textbooks and difficult classes to learn economics. Or maybe you have given up after such a fight. Economics textbooks are full of formulas and graphs. Many students are confused by the abstract content that is far from the prior image.
In this course, we will open lectures at universities to help such people. Let's find a microeconomic mechanism in the small problems of casual everyday life (but big problems for the individual) rather than a broad story of "the impact of global inflation on the Bank of Japan's monetary policy." With the words of microeconomics, you will be able to understand the problem more deeply and more accurately than ever before, and you may find hints to enrich your life.
The class composition includes elements of active learning, such as group work. If you are not good at it, please contact us in advance. For more details, please contact us.

Information health and the Constitution
~ "How to Face Digital Space"
Lecturer: Associate Professor Department of Public Management OHNO Yusuke

In recent years, we have been living surrounded by information, and academic fields related to AI and data science have grown. On the other hand, constitutional issues have been pointed out, and discussions are also active in constitutionality.
In this exercise, we aim to understand "informational health" by reading Toriumi = Yamamoto's "How to Face Digital Space" with regard to "Informational Health". Specifically, students will be asked to read the book one by one and discuss with each other to deepen their understanding of the background and other factors that were proposed. You may also mention another problem area of "AI and constitution."
This exercise will help you objectively look at the environment in which we place and think about how to act in a society full of information.
This exercise is scheduled to be held for a total of six sessions in Chapter 1 (subject to change depending on circumstances).

How to understand and engage with children
What I want to convey to teachers and parents now
Lecturer: Yoji
Kanehara, director of Kanehara Pediatric Clinic

When you hear a child you are worried about, it is often regarded as a "child with illness or disability", but a child who is worried is considered to be a "child who does not know how to get involved." And it is important to see children not only from the viewpoint of disability but also from various directions such as temperament, anxiety, sensation, and attachment. In this course, we will talk about how to understand the children, students, and students who are worried about, and how to interact with and support such children in a concrete and easy-to-understand manner. . Based on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on children, you can get a lot of hints to understand your child! It is a course that we want parents and citizens, including many teachers related to children, to participate by all means.
