Professor Yukihiro Bando of Faculty of Data Science gave an invited lecture at the KIBME Fall Conference held in Seoul, South Korea on November 21, 2024.

In the lecture, he introduced the latest trends on international standardization and various expansions of video compression technology, entitled "Advances in video coding: from standardization to function extensions".

The KIBME Fall conference is an academic conference organized by the Korean Institute of Broadcast and Media Engineers (KIBME), an academic society that plays a leading role in research and development on cutting-edge technologies and applications in the broadcasting and media fields in Korea.
