2015 Shimonoseki Mirai University was opened.

On June 7, 2015 (Sun), the opening ceremony and the first lecture of 2015 Shimonoseki Mirai University were held with the following contents, and many citizens attended.

　Shimonoseki Mirai University has been co-hosted with Shimonoseki City since 2012 to provide a variety of courses, focusing on themes specializing in Shimonoseki as an open learning place. From June to October, 10 courses in each department will be held, and on the last day, a certificate of completion will be awarded to those who have attended more than two-thirds.
