On June 11 (Thursday), at the New Building of the West Japan Exhibition Hall (AIM Building), 314-315, we held a "Kanmon Regional Collaboration Results Report Meeting" co-hosted by Kitakyusyu City University and TUFS.
　Masato Yanai, Vice President of Kitakyusyu City University and Director of Urban Policy Research Institute, gave a presentation on the results of their respective research by Associate Professor Toshikazu Yamakawa, full-time lecturer Takeshi Fujitani, Professor Toshiaki Mizutani, and Associate Professor Kazuhisa Miyashita.
　As part 2, a mini-symposia was held entitled "Prospects for New Interactions in the Future". Inviting panelists from each standpoint of industry, academia, government and government (+ residents) to aim for a new barrier cooperation with a view to linking citizen exchange, educational and cultural activities, and tourism cooperation with the economic revitalization of the barrier area. We discussed the prospects and received lively opinions from the venue. Finally, the meeting was closed with a greeting from Toshimitsu Nanba, director of Shimonoseki City University Regional Co-creation Center.
