On October 1, 2015, we held a "Student Support Lecture" for faculty and staff.
Sixty-seven faculty members participated, led by Professor Tsutomu Ogawa, Deputy Director of the Student Special Support Office, Yamaguchi University University, and Deputy Director of Student Special Support Office.

He gave a lecture on understanding support needs, procedures for deciding support, and on-campus cooperation, such as study support, in order to smoothly respond to the rational consideration provisions of the Act on the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities. In addition, as an educational institution that connects to society, I deepened my thoughts on how to provide support that leads to independence.

With the lecture as an opportunity, the awareness of faculty and staff regarding student support for students with disabilities has increased further. We will continue to strive for educational activities and student support throughout the university.
