Approximately 160 people conducted fire extinguishing, water discharge and evacuation while receiving guidance from Shimonoseki City North Fire Department members. Local residents also participated in a disaster prevention agreement with the Daigakucho Autonomous Federation signed in 2009.
Assuming that the fire incident was caused by the earthquake, the evacuation guidance team that guides the people on campus to the ground in evacuation site, and a rescue team for transporting injured persons and providing emergency measures.
Subsequently, fire drills using water fire extinguishers and indoor fire hydrants were conducted. The water was discharged from a water fire extinguisher toward a triangular cone that looked like a fire, and then discharged from an indoor fire hydrant, which rarely opened, and experienced the power of water.
Finally, evacuation drills were conducted using rescue bags from the Lecture Block B B-303 classroom. The equipment was taken out, installed it, and about 10 people slipped down.
