Industrialization before industrialization
What is the historical significance of the woolen fabric industry in Western Europe?

Lecturer: Professor Faculty of Economics FUJII Yoshio

Prior to the well-known industrialization (Industrial Revolution of the 19th century), textile industry centered on hemp fabrics developed in Western Europe. Prior to that, the woolen industry was growing and established as an important industry in European cities in the Middle Ages. This textile industry really considers the significance of world history.
