Current research themes
“Evaluation of Water Resources Development Projects implemented by the Federal Government of the United States in the 20th century”
In the dry western region of the United States, there are many dams and reservoirs constructed by the federal government, and we are conducting research to evaluate these projects using historical materials from various perspectives. In particular, we are examining the nature of the federal government business itself and how it affected the economic development of the western United States.

My seminar
In the seminar, we will examine corporate management and economic policies from a long-term perspective. In the third year, students will read specialized books in the fields of economic and business history, and acquire the basics for writing graduation thesis through discussions. In the fourth year, students decide on their own research themes for graduation thesis, and write research reports at seminars and write graduation thesis.
