Current research theme

Set in Western Europe in the late Middle Ages, the main research themes have been in areas such as urban history, handicraft history, and modern state formation history. Particularly in recent years, the focus has been on investigating the emergence of modern states from the relationship between cities and the founders, targeting the cities of Nadelland and Burgundy.

Specialized Exercise "World History from the Perspective of Things"

Basic Seminar "History of European Integration"

The specialized exercise aims to understand a part of the world system theory by reading literature on world products under the framework of "world history of things."

In the basic exercises, students will learn how to study at university, report, and write papers, with the main theme of "Technology of Intellectual Production". After that, I will give an overview of the "Europe Integration Process" through reading aloud.
