Current research theme
We will study the historical changes in urban formation in the Kanmon area and the unique form of administrative and private economic activities in urban areas that form cross prefectural borders. In particular, I am studying the characteristics that arise from Kanmon Straits is not merely a natural boundary but a place for economic activity called a port area, as well as the role and challenges of road and railway networks.
