Regarding scholarship return and various procedures after graduation (Notice)

The Japan Student Services Organization scholarships are loaned during your university period and must be returned after graduation. The returned scholarship will be lent immediately as junior scholarships, and if the refund is not made smoothly, it will seriously hinder the junior scholarship loan. Please understand the mechanism of this system, which can only be achieved by fulfilling their responsibilities as scholars, and be sure to return them as promised.

[Starting Return of Scholarship]
Return starts (first transfer date) is October 27, 2016 (Thursday).
It will be automatically transferred from the relay account that has been processed.
Please check the financial institution you have registered in advance.
In addition, please be careful not to be able to make a transfer due to insufficient balance.

[Various procedures]
If there is any change in the information (address, work place, telephone number, etc.) entered in the return pledge, please notify the Japan Student Services Organization using the prescribed form or on the dedicated website (Scalanet Personal). If you do not notify us of the change, you may not receive an important notice from the Japan Student Services Organization.

[Notes]
①Please note that if the refund is delayed due to insufficient balance or unsubmission of notification, etc., it will result in arrears and arrearages will be charged.
②If you continue to be in arrears, your personal information will be registered with the "Personal Credit Information Authority", and you may not be able to set up credit card usage restrictions, mortgages, etc.

[Advanced return]
Both Type 1 scholarships and Type 2 scholarships can be refunded in full or part of the installment for which the refund date has not yet arrived. If you wish to return it early, please apply in the prescribed form.

[If it becomes difficult to return ...]
In the event of a situation where the refund cannot be made due to a disaster, injury, illness, economic difficulties, unemployment, etc., you can request a reduction in the installment amount or a postponement of the refund deadline.
