#Regional co-creationShimonoseki Whale Summer School was held
On July 28 (Sat), the Shimonoseki Whale Summer School for elementary school students in the city was held at the University Main Building I-201 classroom. First of all, Mr. Sou Ishikawa, Director of the Shimonoseki Whale Research Office, talked about "What kind of creature is whale?" Next, Mr. Mitsuhiro Kishimoto, a commissioned researcher at our university, talked about the history of Shimonoseki and whales.
After the talk, we toured the library in Building II of the Main Building of the University and toured the skulls of whales on the first floor of Library and Study Center Building. Elementary school students who participated learned a lot about "Whales". I hope it will be helpful for free research. A similar course will be held on Saturday, August 11 (application has been closed).
The Regional Co-creation Center plans to plan and implement various courses in the future. If you are interested, please join us.
