　Shimonoseki City University has decided to cancel the 55th Graduation and Degree Award Ceremony.

We decided to cancel the ceremony based on the view of the current situation in the COVID-19 infection is spreading all over the country and the opinion of the government's Experts Council on Countermeasures against COVID-19 infection that young people who have a very low rate of serious illness will play an important role in spreading the infection without realizing it.

　Considering the feelings of graduates, graduates, and their parents, it is a feeling of bowel, but please understand that we have made such a decision with the highest priority on ensuring the safety of everyone.

　The method of awarding diplomas and diplomas will be sent by mail.

　The 59th entrance ceremony scheduled for April 6, 2020 (Monday), will be posted on this site as soon as it is decided based on the future situation and other factors.
