Reporter: Professor Toshimitsu Nanba, Professor Faculty of Economics
Collaborators: Professor Yumiko Tanaka, Faculty of Economics

Overview:

There is an imbalance between supply and demand for medical and welfare services in Japan. In particular, the problem is that it is becoming difficult to provide medical and welfare services tailored to the community due to the shortage of nursing and nursing care staff. Nursing and care staff are looking for a workplace in a better environment where they can take advantage of their individual abilities. In this report, we will explain the causes of nursing and nursing care staff to leave their jobs.
