2.Recruitment of emergency interest-free loan type scholarships
◆Requirements of the Target (persons who meet all of the following 1-5)
- Meet the criteria for Class 2 scholarships (person, academic ability, household budget)
- Have not received a Type 2 scholarship loan at the time of recommendation
- Have not received a large amount of remittance from home (the amount of remittance is not more than 1.5 million yen per year)
- High proportion of part-time job income to living expenses and tuition expenses
- Part-time income of students decreased significantly due to the impact of the expansion of COVID-19 infection.
(Part-time job income decreased by more than 50% in fiscal 2021 due to the expansion of COVID-19 infection, as it became an area for implementing “declaration of a state of emergency” and “Priority Measures to Prevent Spread”. I couldn't earn the expected income because I didn't pay for my planned part-time job.)
◆Lending period: In accordance with the application of "declaration of a state of emergency" or "Priority Measures for Prevention of Spread", from the desired month after the month when part-time job income declined significantly to March 2022 (the loan will be limited to fiscal 2021 only).

3.Continued loan of Type 2 scholarships for students who are absent from school
◆Requirements of the Target (persons who meet all of the following 1-3)
- Those who have received a Type 2 scholarship loan
- Those who take part in activities such as taking a leave of absence during FY2021 and participating in volunteer activities (double-track learning) due to the impact of the expansion of the COVID-19 infection.
※Those who have returned to school at the time of application are not eligible. - A person whose school principal recognizes that the activities during the leave period of 2 are meaningful and the necessity of lending scholarships are necessary.
※Applicable if it is recognized that the activities are "social contribution activities", "positive in the field of major", "useful for the formation of one's own human beings", etc.
◆Lending period: Up to one year from the month in which the activity was started
※Those whose activity start month during the leave period is from April 1993 to March 1994.
