In fiscal 2022, a new scholarship program for excellence students has been launched.

This system provides scholarships to students with excellent academic performance to improve their motivation and to encourage Gaku Osamu to study Osamu and to encourage Gaku Osamu. Since the selection will be based on the results of the previous year, you may be eligible for the Gaku Osamu scholarship from any grade.

This year, a total of 50 students were selected, including 21 from Department of Economics, 21 from Department of International Commerce, 6 from Department of Public Management, and 2 international students.

　When I graduated from university, I have been working on university studies with the goal of making sure that there is no regret about studying. The reason is that when I was in high school, I didn't take my studies very seriously, and I regretted my studies. Since I was in my second year of college, the living environment changed completely due to the spread of the coronavirus, and I was sometimes confused by the unfamiliar study environment. I worked on it. As a result, I am able to be selected as the top performers, and I would like to work on learning so that I can increase my perspective on society, focusing on learning financial analysis at seminars. I think many of you who read this article also struggled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but I would be grateful if you could try to do my best so that as many people as possible could think they had done in college life.

　I am very happy to be selected as one of the top performers. My dream is to become a university teacher. This is my parents and my dream. My parents have supported me all the time, so now I'm working hard to make our dreams come true. Since I was able to study abroad, I am enjoying the class. I think the university is a place where I can interact with my teachers. Therefore, after class, I sometimes ask questions to the teacher. The teachers also responded kindly to me. I always study at school after class. When you are in school, it is easy to concentrate on your studies. I am now preparing for a graduate school exam. When I was in fourth grade, I lost my dependence like my seniors, and I felt uneasy that my future choices were in front of me. I work hard every day with anxiety.

　I am very pleased to be selected as one of the best results.
　I believe that this election is the result of the support of many people, including teachers who taught me carefully regardless of face-to-face or remote classes, as well as family members and friends.
　Over the past year, the objective was to be able to systematically explain actual corporate management activities from an academic perspective. For this reason, I have studied a wide range of fields, mainly in accounting, commerce, and business administration.
　In the rest of my university life, I would like to deepen my understanding of management strategy theory from actual examples of companies while making use of my learning up to last year. We will continue to make use of what we have learned at university even after graduation and strive to become a human resource who can contribute to society.

[Madoka Morioka, 2nd year student in Department of Public Management Faculty of Economics]

  I knew this system itself for a long time, but I was very surprised because I didn't think I would be chosen. Also, my choice this time motivated me to continue studying hard even in two to three years.
　For the past year, I attended face-to-face lectures almost without a break, and listened to on-demand lectures many times until I understood the content. In addition to what was written in the resume, I always tried to take notes on what I thought was important in the teacher's remarks and what I explained verbally in an easy-to-understand manner.
　In the future, I think that the content will become even more professional and complicated than in the past year, so I would like to value the accumulation of daily life. In the future, I would like to actually learn about regional revitalization and the knowledge necessary to solve local issues through fieldwork.
