"Let's learn about the essence of Japanese culture" has been holding various exchange meetings since 2008 with the aim of encouraging all students, including international students, to become interested in and understand Japanese culture.
　The first time in 2023 is a trip around Yamaguchi's culture and nature. The Rurikoji Temple Five-storied Pagoda in Yamaguchi is undergoing major renovations once every 70 years. We will observe while listening to the explanation of the volunteer guide. In addition, we will explore one of the largest limestone caves in the Orient (Akiyoshidai Akiyoshido). Finally, visit the 123 red-painted torii Motonosumi-jinja Shrine (former Motonosumi Inari Shrine), which runs from the hill to the sea, and experience the fusion of nature and culture.

Destination: Rurikoji-Akiyoshidai, Akiyoshidong (lunch)-Motonosumi-jinja Shrine
Target: About 40 students from Shimonoseki City University

Participation fee: 1,500 yen (Akiyoshi-dong admission fee, bus usage fee)
　　　　※ If the number of participants is 19 or less, the participation fee will be 1,700 yen.
