The top performers based on the "Graduate School Osamu Incentive Program" newly launched in FY2022 have been selected.
This system provides scholarships to students with excellent academic performance to improve their motivation and to encourage Gaku Osamu to study Osamu and to encourage Gaku Osamu. Since the selection will be based on the results of the previous year, you may be eligible for the Gaku Osamu scholarship from any grade.
This year, a total of 50 students were selected, including 21 from Department of Economics, 21 from Department of International Commerce, 6 from Department of Public Management, and 2 international students.

I am very pleased to have been selected as one of the top performers since last year. For the past year, I have been working on learning, especially with great importance on daily accumulation. Rather than packing before the test or before the deadline for assignments, I worked hard to prepare, reviews, and assignments every day. In addition, I was conscious of not leaving what I didn't understand or worried about as it was, so I devised a learning method such as using the Internet and books, and creating my own notebooks. This time, I was able to evaluate my own year's efforts in this way, which made me confident as a successful experience. In the rest of my university life, I would like to learn more about "business administration" with a focus on activities at the seminar.

After knowing that there was this system, I wanted to be chosen at least once before graduation, so I worked hard to study. I am very happy to have you actually choose this time. Last year, I tried not to be absent or late for classes. During class, I focused on what the teacher was talking about, rather than on board writing, and notes on the explanations of important parts and parts that I didn't understand well. Also, since I couldn't concentrate at home, I was preparing and reviewing classes during the test period and in empty classrooms. In the future, I would like to focus on psychology, which is the main theme of the seminar, which I have always been interested in. In addition, since I learned the pleasure of studying management and bookkeeping through my study until last year, I would like to acquire more specialized knowledge in that field.

My desire to be selected as the top performers is proud and joy. I feel that my efforts and learning efforts have been rewarded. Last year's goals were self-growth and acquisition of expertise. To that end, we used self-development and information sources outside the university. Through books, articles, and online resources, I worked on themes such as leadership, communication skills, and time management. In the future, I would like to study in a wider range of fields. The goal is to have a cross-disciplinary perspective by deepening knowledge of different academic disciplines and related fields. In addition, we plan to participate in internships and volunteer activities to gain practical experience. I would like to improve my problem-solving skills and practical skills while confronting the real challenges that I can get there.

Last year, I was worried about my first "learning at university", but I think thanks to the cooperation and support of many people, I was able to do a fulfilling study Osamu. Depending on the subject, I prepared the following preparations for what kind of content was, and I was conscious of being able to listen independently. In addition, I practiced the learning Osamu method that suits me, which I learned so far, and valued my daily accumulation. Since the time is limited in busy days, I think it's important not to make temporary decisions. I am very honored to have these achievements in the selection of the top performers. Based on last year's learning, I would like to learn a wide range of fields this year, and to learn about group work and fieldwork that I will do in the future, and what I can make use of it beyond that.
