The top performers in FY2024 have been selected.

Based on the "Osamu Academic Scholarship Program", which was newly launched in 2022, the top performers have been decided.
In this system, students with excellent academic performance are given a scholarship to improve their motivation and encourage them to learn Osamu. Since the selection will be based on the results of the previous year, you may be eligible for the Academic Osamu Incentive from any grade.
This year, a total of 50 students were selected, including 21 Department of Economics, 21 Department of International Commerce, 6 Department of Public Management and 2 international students.
I would like to introduce you to 4 of them. He talked about what he felt when he was selected as an excellent student and his daily efforts for Osamu Gaku.

[4th year student, Faculty of Economics Department of Economics, Reno Funakoshi]

This time, I am very honored to have been selected as the top performers in 2024. I believe that it was the result of the careful and enthusiastic guidance of the teachers that I received such an extra evaluation. At the same time, I think it was thanks to the generous support of the school staff, the warm encouragement of friends, and above all, the support of the family. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation to all those who have taken care of me so far. In order to reward the benefits we have received so far, we will continue to work hard to contribute to society as much as possible, encouraging the results of this selection. We look forward to your continued guidance and encouragement in the future.

[Narimi Masuda, a third-year student at Department of International Commerce Faculty of Economics]

I am very honored to be selected as a top performers this time. Last year, I focused on time management to conduct learning Osamu. I managed the schedule in detail so that I could balance part-time work and learning, and tried to ensure that I had time for learning. During the test week at the end of the semester, we set up a learning plan and worked efficiently to clarify our goals and issues. In the future, there will be more places to obtain information and act on their own, so I would like to work on it while further enhancing independence. I would like to deepen my knowledge of regional policies and the international economy that I am particularly interested in, and to learn practically. I will do my best to be able to grow up while making use of what I have learned so far.

Faculty of Economics Department of Public Management 2nd year student Yume Tanaka

I knew the existence of the system, but I am very honored to be chosen by myself. For the past year, I tried not to miss the lecture with the goal of not dropping credits. During the lecture, I tried to take notes focusing on important points in the teacher's story. The parts that were difficult to understand were supplemented by borrowing related books at the university library, and reviewed while comparing them with resumes. In the future, I would like to go into a more specialized field and actively deepen my knowledge from myself. When I entered university, I became interested not only in the consumer side but also in the perspective of thinking about the economy from the production and management side. In the process of learning this, I want to find a field that I am particularly interested in. Taking this opportunity, I would like to clarify the goals of my study for the future and work hard to achieve further growth.

Faculty of Economics Department of Economics, 4th year student (International student)

I am very honored to be selected as an excellent student. I have always kept a high attendance rate and tried not to be late. I sat in a seat near my teacher as much as possible and worked to create an environment where I could concentrate on lectures. In addition, by thoroughly managing time and organizing an efficient learning schedule, I tried to live a balanced life. As a result, I have never been rushed to the deadline for assignments. In the future, we plan to actively engage in internships and volunteer activities again this year to make use of the knowledge gained at the university to society. Encouraged by being awarded as a top performers, I would like to continue my efforts and continue to take on new challenges.
