I decided to go to Shimonoseki City University Graduate School because I met and became interested in the study of education economics when I was an undergraduate student. There are very few destinations to study education economics, and it was perfect for my desire to study professionally.

There are still few researchers in the field of education economics, which approaches both educational and economic aspects, such as what kind of education should be given during childhood to increase labor productivity in the future, and the importance of education has finally begun to be recognized in Japan. I am studying not only infants but also elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools, etc., and I focus on high schools.

I was born in Faculty of Economics and didn't know much about education, so I think it was very good to learn about education economics at graduate school. During the same period, there are not only those who go straight from the undergraduate school, but also those who are studying while working. In the field of education and economics where I am researching, I can also take classes online*, so some people live in Tokyo. I think Shimonoseki City University Graduate School has a relatively high degree of freedom of learning and an environment where it is easy to study.
