On-campus traffic rules
About driving of cars etc. into campus
If you want to go to university by car, bicycle, or motorcycle, you need to apply.
Vehicles that do not apply to the university are not allowed to enter the campus.
Please refer to the Student Handbook for information on how to use parking lots and bicycle parking lots.
Let's keep in mind parking and bicycle parking.
We often see bicycles parked in campus bicycle parking lots on campus, and bicycles are leaning outside the frame of bicycle parking lots.
In addition, a report has been received from local residents that the student is parked on the road around the university.
In addition to legal compliance, please follow the manners of on-campus bicycle parking, and park your bicycle in a designated place.
About car parking permission
Permission conditions
- Obtained a driver's license and have passed at least one year.
- Students must attend a traffic safety seminar (scheduled to be held at Okayama University around December).
- You must go to school from a specific area in Shimonoseki city or outside the city.
- You must have voluntary insurance.
- In addition, the Dean may be permitted if deemed necessary by the Dean of the Dean.
- Not all applications can be granted due to the limited number of allowed.
Application period
- Usually from mid-December to the end of January
About bicycle parking application of bicycle, motorcycle
The vehicle to be used must be attached to the Student Support Division window.
