At 13:30 on June 19, 2014, the title of Professor Emeritus was held in the large conference room on the 5th floor of the main building II Building II, and the title of Professor Emeritus was awarded to former Professor Tadao Kawamoto and Mamoru Shimoda, who retired on March 31, 2014. Professor Shimoda has been absent due to circumstances.

　From President, Professor Emeritus Kawamoto has been working for as many as 31 years, and has received valuable opinions at various milestones. In a resignation greeting from City University Public Relations No. 72, "I don't think universities have become vocational schools nationwide and we have not nurtured students who really think deeply. "It is necessary to regenerate education that shakes life and doubt the foundation of one's existence" will be an issue for the future. I am very sorry to have left our university, but I have said that I look forward to your continued success.

　Professor Emeritus Kawamoto said that when he was awarded the title of Professor Emeritus to other faculty members a few years ago, he said, "I am happy to be a member of the emeritus professor." I thought it was like that, but when I actually put myself in the same position, I'm glad. It is a pity that many talented faculty members retired during their tenure, but if the faculty members are solid, the students will become solid. The best part of our university is the Faculty Assembly. It was said that the time when free and vigorous opinions were exchanged regardless of their position.
