The first open campus of this year was held on July 19, 2014 (Saturday). Before the reception started at 9:30, it was a cloudy sky with occasional light rain, but the blue sky immediately spread and outdoor events were held without delay.

　After completing the reception at the main building, participants went to the B lecture building while holding free drinks. From 10:00, there was a “overall explanation” on university introduction, employment status, entrance examination information, etc., followed by subject guidance and mock classes.

　The lecture included Department of Economics's "Activation of Shopping Street Using Yuru Chara-Chara: Creativity for University Students and the Possibilities of Social Business" (Professor Toshimitsu Nanba), and Department of International Commerce said "Is iPhone a world-grown product? "Global Economy from the View of Things" (Associate Professor Toshikazu Yamakawa) and Department of Public Management's "City Development for Rural Areas and Cities" (Lecturer Takafumi Matsumoto).

　In addition, various events were held, such as language experience, essay preparation courses, student planning "Let's talk with City University Students" and on-campus tours, and many people participated.

　The second event will be held on August 10 (Sun).
