On July 19, 2014 (Saturday), the first open campus of this year was held. Before the reception started at 9:30, it was a cloudy sky with occasional light rain, but the blue sky quickly spread and outdoor events were held without delay.

　After completing the reception at the main building, participants went to the B Lecture Building with a drink distributed free of charge. From 10:00, there was a "overall explanation" about university introduction, employment situation, entrance examination information, etc. After that, subject guidance and mock classes were held.

　Department of Economics's lecture "Activating Shopping Streets Utilizing Yuru-Chara: Creativity of University Students and Potential of Social Business" (Professor Toshimitsu Nanba) and Department of International Commerce's "Is iPhone a World? “Global Economy Seen from Things” (Associate Professor Toshikazu Yamakawa) and Department of Public Management’s “City Development for Rural Areas and Urbanities” (Takafumi Matsumoto, Lecturer).

　In addition, various events were held, such as language experiences, essay preparation courses, student planning "Let's talk with City University students" and on-campus tours, and many people participated.

　The second event will be held on August 10 (Sun).
