On July 19, 2014, along with the open campus, the Shimonoseki City University Public University Open Lecture “Regional Selection and Career in Advanced Study” was launched.

　Tomohiko Moriyama, a specially-appointed faculty member of the university spoke about the selection of a region for further education from the perspective of employment. The high school students and parents who participated were eager to learn about the differences and characteristics of large cities and local cities.

　The university plans to hold open lectures in the fall semester after September. We will publicize on our website, etc., so please check it out.
