#Open campusAn open campus was held in August.
On August 10, 2014 (Sunday), the second open campus was held this year.
We were worried about the impact of Typhoon No. 11, but many high school students and parents came. In the distance, there were also participants from Toyama and Kagoshima prefectures. Thank you very much for all the visitors.
President Yoshizu gave a general explanation, but the largest classroom of the university was filled with many participants. It was impressive to see a high school student listening with a serious expression and taking notes.
In this mock lecture, Department of Economics was Professor Shohei Yoneda's "What is the significance of studying economics?" and Department of International Commerce was Professor Kumiko Hagiwara's "Is business management a matter of making money?" Department of Public Management was Professor Takahiro Kirihara's "Comparative Culture Theory of Urban Culture: Taut, Watsuji and Publicity." I think you could enjoy a different atmosphere from my usual high school class.
This year, the current students also excited the open campus. From preparation for the venue setting up, to holding various events such as on-campus tours, tea ceremonies by the tea ceremony club, and live performances of a cappella circle, he worked hard even though it was wet in the rain. Students from the broadcasting department also served as moderator for the overall explanation.
This year's original goods were "correction tape with eraser". It seemed that not only high school students but also parents were pleased. Please use it at schools and workplaces.
The next open campus will be held on September 27th (Sat). The time will be shortened, and it will be specialized in the explanation of the entrance examination. Details will be announced on the website in the near future.
