From August 18 (Tue.) to 20 (Thu), 2015, Shimonoseki City and Shimonoseki City University will jointly hold the 2015 Shimonoseki Youth College Junior and Senior High School Summer University “Let's Learn about Localities” and many junior and senior high school students participated. The event was held to learn more about the local Shimonoseki through various lectures and on-site tours of all nine courses as follows. On the last day, a certificate of completion was issued, and the junior and senior high school students who participated were very well received.

　The state of Shimonoseki Youth College will be aired on KRY Yamaguchi Broadcasting's "Municipal Government Newsletter 21" (scheduled from 11:50 to 12:00 on August 30 and September 6).
