On October 2, 2015 (Friday), we held a seminar on understanding the dangers of alcohol and prevention of alcohol harassment under the theme of "Alcohol and Health". Mr. Yoshiyuki Moriguchi, a mental health and welfare counselor at Shimonoseki City Shimonoseki Public Health Center, as a lecturer, 106 people including representatives of circles and student groups, participated.
Students learned basic knowledge of alcohol, understanding the dangers of alcohol to minors, and prevention of alcohol harassment. Participants listened seriously to useful stories, such as how to calculate the amount of pure alcohol contained in alcohol and how to deal with alcohol-related emergencies. Participants will take home what they have learned to each circle and share them.
