At 13:30 on June 16, 2016, a ceremony was held in the large conference room on the 5th floor of the main building of the university's Emeritus Professor Seiichi Michimori and Kenji Kimura, who retired on March 31 this year, were awarded the title of Professor Emeritus. Dr. Michimori was absent due to circumstances.

　President introduced his efforts in education and research, and on his research, the high reputation of modern Japanese economic history was highly evaluated by academic societies.

　Professor Emeritus Kimura says that it is important to have room for everything, and you can't do good research without enough time. He said he would like to continue his research activities in the future.
