The 64th Kitakyusyu / Shimonoseki District University Athletic Meet Spring Karate Competition was held

　The “Kitakyusyu / Shimonoseki District University Athletic Meet” is held by 17 participating universities in the Kitakyusyu and Shimonoseki District University Athletic Association in charge of 17 sports for one event at a time for the purpose of mutual friendship through sports. Okayama University is in charge of the karate competition, and on Sunday, June 25, 2017 a spring tournament was held at Shimonoseki Budokan, Yamaguchi Prefectural Government.

　On the day of the event, six universities participated, and three boys from the Karatedo Club of Kyushu University. In addition, members other than the players also played a role in setting up the venue and proceeding, and all of them worked together to run the tournament.
　The main results of the university's players are as follows.

　This tournament is scheduled to be held in November, and it is expected that the Karatedo Club will be even more active.
