On July 13th, the "Kanmon Regional Joint Study Group Results Report Meeting" was held jointly by Kitakyusyu City University Regional Strategic Research Institute, Kitakyusyu City University and the Center for Regional Co-Creation.
　Following the opening remarks by Hidetsugu Hamada, Director of the Center for Regional Co-creation at Shimonoseki City University, Associate Professor SUGIURA Katsuaki, Hiromi Matsunaga, Associate Professor Takehiro Sakamoto, and Associate Professor Ayu Kudo reported on the results of research conducted in FY2017. 　As a second part, we held a symposium entitled "Health and Longevity and Eating Habits". After a keynote speech by Yuri Yokoyama, a researcher at the Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Health and Longevity Medical Center, we exchanged opinions on dietary habits that lead to longevity, and received valuable opinions from the venue. Finally, Dr. Masato Yanai, Vice President of Kitakyusyu City University and Director of Regional Strategy Institute for Regional Strategy.
