On June 13, 2019 (Thursday), a public lecture entitled "Basic Knowledge on Information Security - Computer Virus, Fraud Mail, etc." was held at the I-201 Classroom on the 2nd floor of the main building of the University.

　Prof. MATSUMOTO Yoshiyuki of Faculty of Economics Department of International Commerce University gave an explanation of computer viruses and specific examples of security measures against fraudulent emails. Participants were eager to listen to how to protect themselves against threats on the Internet caused by using information devices essential for daily life, such as personal computers. .
