#GeneralWe conducted disaster drills.
A disaster drill was held on September 26, 2019 (Thursday).
Under the guidance of Shimonoseki City Kita Fire Department members, about 150 people, including students, faculty and staff, and residents of the Daigakucho Residents' Association, participated in disaster drills.
Assuming that fire incident was associated with the arson, a self-defense fire brigade made up of TUFS staff, including a fire fighting team that went to the fire site to conduct initial firefighting, a evacuation guidance team that guided students in the building to the campus plaza in evacuation site, and a rescue team that transports injured persons and provides first aid.
As outdoor activities, we conducted water discharge training using indoor fire hydrants and fire extinguishing training using water fire extinguishers.
A staff member instructed that fires tend to occur if the house was scattered, so they would like them to keep them organized.
