On October 17, 2019 (Thursday), a public lecture entitled "First ancient document-Learning how to read broken letters and decipher historical materials" was held at the I-201 classroom on the second floor of the main building of the university.
Hitoshi Mitsushina, a lecturer at Department of International Commerce Faculty of Economics, gave a lecture on how to read the broken letters and explained the characteristics of historical materials and the broken letters. Lectures were conducted in an interactive manner and in a format that explained while showing materials from ancient documents. The students listened eagerly and took notes. The "First ancient document" course will be held four times until December 5 (Thursday). Students will prepare and review for the next lecture, and will take a practical training-style course to learn how to read broken letters.
