The 7th Japanese Speech Contest in Japan was held!

On November 7 (Thursday), the 7th Japanese Language Speech Contest at Shimonoseki City University was held.
A total of 19 international students participated, 4 from Toa University, 1 from Baiko Gakuin University, and 14 from Shimonoseki City University.
All international students made full use of their daily practice results and gave a wonderful speech. After the presentations of the 10 students in the first part and 9 in the second part, a question-and-answer session was held.

There were a wide range of questions from the students of the university's basic exercises and participants in citizen lectures asked about the contents of international students, the home country of international students, and their impressions of Japan. Some citizens also asked questions about the complex historical relationship between nations that did not conform to the purpose of this contest, but the international students calmed down their thoughts and honestly.

TUFS's international exchange aims to deepen understanding of how people interact and coexist in the international community, and to open up new perspectives. Hosting a Japanese speech contest is also part of this.
In the future, I would like to continue promoting education and exchange for international understanding. Thank you very much for your participation and participation.
