On September 29, Mayor Shintaro Maeda visited the school for a class in Department of Public Management.

What the mayor was in charge of was a class of "Public Management Practice I" entitled "About Public Management Initiatives in Shimonoseki City". In the classroom, students sit at a distance from each other to prevent COVID-19, and open windows to give consideration to ventilation.

Mayor Maeda started with a self-introduction from Shimonoseki, and explained the projects he had been involved in so far, such as the "Shimonoseki Future Creation Job Fair" and the "Scholarship Return Support Project". In each case, we will respond to the diversifying and complex needs of citizens, and aim to realize attractive "cheerful Shimonoseki" with limited financial resources.

Finally, the character "Sekimaru" of the "ALL Shimonoseki Genki Dissemination Project", which started on October 1, also appeared, conveying his enthusiasm for the project.
