#Open Lecture

Citizen's University Open Lecture "Eiichi Shibusawa, I want to know now" has been opened.

On December 15th (Tuesday), an open lecture at Citizen's University, "Eiichi Shibusawa, I want to know now: Follow the Footprints of Japanese Capitalism "" was held online.

Hitoshi Mitsushina, associate professor of Department of International Commerce, Faculty of Economics, gave a lecture explaining his activities and ideas about Eiichi Shibusawa. Based on the latest research results, there were explanations on the new 10,000-yen bill in 2024 and Eiichi Shibusawa, who has been highlighted as the main character of Taiga drama series next year. The event was held online using Zoom, and the students listened very enthusiastically. It was very fruitful, such as giving detailed explanations while giving detailed explanations, giving specific explanations, and giving time to questions and answers.

The open lecture in 2020 was the last of this course. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were able to postpone the spring semester course to the fall semester and further changed to an online course. Although it was not perfect, I think that everyone who took the course had a different experience from the face-to-face course. We are planning to hold an open lecture in any form next year. We look forward to your participation.
