On July 8th (Thursday), a public lecture "Sociology of Renewable Energy-Thinking from Cases of Small Hydroelectric Power Generation" was held online.

　Invited by Professor Junko Fukumoto of Fukuoka Prefectural University as a lecturer, an open lecture was opened. The lecture explained and explained the historical background, potential of renewable energy, and issues based on specific examples of small hydroelectric power generation in rural areas, which is used as one of renewable energy. The students listened eagerly while watching the materials on the screen. In addition, some students asked questions about the contents of the lecture. It was held online, but it was very fruitful.

　This is the last public lecture at Civic University in the spring semester of 2021, but we will continue to hold open lectures in the fall semester. Details will be announced on the website at a later date. We look forward to your participation.
