July 25 (Sun) The Shimonoseki Whale Summer School -Let's Learn about Whales" for elementary school students and parents living in the city, held a special summer vacation parent-child experience event for elementary school students and parents living in the city, was held in the afternoon.

　After learning about the ecology of whales in a quiz format from Dr. Kishimoto, Dr. Whale, I learned about the relationship between Shimonoseki and whales. After the lecture, we observed the mother ship model and the skull of sardine whales on display on the first floor of Library and Study Center Building. Elementary school students raised their hands to answer quizzes, talked about questions and impressions, and participated very actively.
　Elementary school students who participated learned a lot about "whale" through this event. It was a hot day, but thank you for visiting the university. I hope it will be helpful for free research.
