On September 29th (Thursday), Kyoto University and Shimonoseki City University held "Joint Research Seminar: Approach to Educational Economics Using Game Theory Methods". In addition, a ceremony was held to commemorate the holding of the joint research seminar.
After explaining the history of the seminar, Professor Sekiguchi of the Economic Research Institute, Kyoto University,Chair, and Korea of President gave a speech.
At the seminar, Professor Sekiguchi and Professor Nozu of Kyoto University served as lecturers, and Professor Ishii from Tohoku University served as lecturers, and about 20 seminar participants listened to the practice of game theory and the explanation of the lecturer, thought and learned.
※Game theory is a discipline that expresses human behavior and decision-making in mathematical formulas and can be applied widely in economics, sociology, and political science.
※Education Economics is an academic discipline that considers economics related to education, such as the economic effects of education and educational achievements, and is a newly established field in the Graduate School of GRIPS in April 2021.
