Participation in the national tournament of the semi-rigid baseball club and Shorinji Kempo Club and selection of all-JAPAN university selection team players for semi-rigid baseball club members

OIST's semi-rigid baseball club and Shorinji Kempo Club will participate in the national competition.
In addition, one member of the semi-rigid baseball club has been selected as a player of the All Japan University semi-rigid Baseball Federation All JAPAN University Selection Team.
On campus, a send-off party was held on November 10 (Thursday), and talked about his willingness to the national convention. In addition, we visited the mayor of Shimoseki and reported their participation.

From the semi-rigid baseball club, four players will be selected from the Chugoku district selection team, and will participate in the national tournament in which selected teams from nine districts nationwide. We aim to break through the qualifying league and advance to the final tournament. Yoshiki Urakami (4th year in Department of International Commerce) is the captain of the team. Although he has a smaller physique compared to players from other universities, his experience and skills will lead the team to victory.
In addition, Rei Shigeru Suzuki (3rd year in Department of Economics), who was selected as a player for the All Japan University Quasi-Rid Baseball Federation All Japan University Selection Team, travels to Australia and participate in international friendly matches with local professional baseball teams. Mr. Suzuki showed his willingness to say, `` The first selected player, teammates who meet face for the first time, and the first overseas expedition are all the first time, but I want to play my own without being drunk by the atmosphere." Was.

Shorinji Kempo Club participated in the 50th Yamaguchi Prefecture Shorinji Kempo Tournament, and won the right to participate in the 2022 Shorinji Kempo National Convention in OSAKA. Both of them started Shorinji Kempo after they entered university. While the number of members was small due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked seriously on my daily practice and got a ticket for this national convention. Captain Shogo Oishi (3rd year in Department of International Commerce) stated his ambition, "I would like to relax and take part in the game and perform as a representative of Shimonoseki City University in Yamaguchi Prefecture."
