"Let's get to know the essence of Japanese culture! Has been implemented since 2008 as part of global human resource development, with the aim of raising and understanding of Japanese culture by all students of our university, including international students, to raise and understand Japanese culture.

　The second session of 2022 was held on Monday, November 7 with the teachers of Hanayagi-ryu Shihan Normal. Participants wore kimonos, hakama, and yukata, and learned how to dance in kimono. Thanks to the waist tightened with the band, the posture was well-organized and beautiful work up to the fingertips. After that, I learned the choreography of Hanagasa Ondo, and everyone enjoyed dancing. Finally, all participants had a Shimonoseki specialty souvenir from Shimonoseki Lions Club.
　We will continue to learn about the essence of Japanese culture in 2023, so please join us.
