On the evening of October 2, a public lecture entitled “Journey around the Western Middle Ages: Exploring the Capitalist headwater” was opened.
This year, face-to-face lectures have been resumed for the first time in four years since the spring semester, and we plan to continue face-to-face classes in the fall semester.
This year, the first public lecture in the fall semester, was given by Professor FUJII Yoshio of Faculty of Economics to learn about the history, geography, and products of Western Europe in the Middle Ages.
In a unique course with trivia quizzes such as "Why was stained glass used for decoration of churches in Europe in the Middle Ages?"
