Students belonging to the university's semi-rigid baseball club participated in the national competition.

　Rei Shigeru Suzuki (4th year in Department of Economics), Hiroki Matsuda (3rd year in Department of Economics), and Masao Takenaka (2nd year in Department of Economics) of the semi-rigid baseball team were selected as players in the Chugoku region.

　A send-off party was held on November 15 (Wednesday), and Chair handed a list of prizes from the university to Mr. Matsuda.

　At the farewell party, Mr. Matsuda stated his enthusiasm for the national tournament, saying, "I want to play with all my might because I will participate as a selection." The chat was exciting with regular practice and local stories of players, and the atmosphere was held in a relaxed atmosphere throughout.
