The “Kitakyusyu / Shimonoseki District University Athletic Meet” is held by 16 members of the Kitakyusyu / Shimonoseki District University Athletic Association for the purpose of mutual friendship between universities through sports, and is held in charge of 16 competitions one by one. Okayama University is in charge of the karate competition, and on December 3, 2023 (Sunday), the autumn competition was held at Shimonoseki Budokan, Yamaguchi Prefecture.

　On the day of the event, three boys participated from the university's Karate Club. In addition, members other than the players also played a role in setting up the venue and proceeding, and all members managed the tournament as a whole.

　The main results of our university players are as follows.

This tournament is scheduled to be held next year, and it is expected that the university's Karate Club will continue to play an active role.
