On January 11 (Thursday), the 2023 Urban Mirai Forum was hosted by the TUFS Urban Mirai Creation Strategy Organization.

　This forum, which began last year, was planned as an academic event that could be attended by the general public outside of the university. This year, a keynote speech by the General Affairs Division Manager of the Japan Tourism Agency was scheduled to be held as a new attempt.
　For this reason, the event will be held only in the afternoon, but many people, including city council members and Shimonoseki City officials, participated.

　At the forum, various presentations were made on the main theme of sightseeing in the Kanmon area, and questions and answers were held with participants for each presentation. In particular, as the title of the forum, discussions on the future of Shimonoseki City as a city were excited, and a very lively exchange of opinions took place.

　The Urban Mirai Creation Strategic Organization will continue to improve and continue these events to provide refreshing and intelligent stimulation to more students, faculty, staff, and citizens.
