On January 18 (Thursday), the signing ceremony was held for the conclusion of an agreement on comprehensive cooperation between Shimonoseki City Board of Education and Shimonoseki City University.

　At the signing ceremony, President, Korea's greeting saying, "I would like to create a virtuous cycle of human resource development that fosters the human resources needed in the region at local educational institutions and work for the community." The Superintendent of Education Isobe said, "Promotion of policy formation that emphasizes data, with cooperation utilizing the expertise and knowledge of municipal universities.

　After the speech, President of Korea and the Superintendent of Education, Isobe signed and exchanged the agreement.

　Under the comprehensive cooperation of this agreement, the Shimonoseki Board of Education and TUFS will continue to cooperate with each other to further enhance and develop education and research in Shimonoseki City and education and research at universities.
